Who we are

LMC Industrial Contractors was founded in 1982 by Lawrence Mehlenbacher in Avon, New York as a mechanical contracting company focused on process piping. In order to expand the company and facility its growth, Lawrence purchased the Foster Wheeler Facility in 2005. Located directly off Interstate 390, just south of Rochester, New York this facility provided key essentials for expansion. The facility supported LMC’s operations with a covered 650,000 sq. ft. production facility, and a 55 acre storage yard sitting on 89 acres. The facility is serviced by the short rail line operator Rochester & Southern.

LMC has over 350 employees which include; API 1104, ASME, AISC & AWS certified welders and fabricators, NACE painters & blasters, licensed & NCCCO Trained crane operators & riggers, millwrights & carpenters, HVAC service group, engineering and locomotive employees. LMC’s shop capabilities include the PythonX CNC Plasma cutting system, 2 large plate rolls, automated welding machines, Koike burn table, vertical and horizontal drills, 500 ton press brake, shears, punches, saws, various size paint & blast booths (Crane Accessible), and over 600 ton of crane capacity. In addition, LMC owns a fleet of mobile cranes, excavators, dozers, loaders, man-lifts, and various other pieces of equipment in the main yard and on job sites.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We do not share your data with any 3rd party companies and merely use it as a way to enhance our website performance and better serve our website visitors.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
